The Expo was well attended and we welcomed a number of visitors on to our stand. This was a great opportunity to network with industry peers and Corporate Real Estate executives and to discuss areas of common interest. We addressed topics such as: the increasing integration of Corporate Real Estate (CRE) and Facilities Management (FM) as both disciplines become increasingly strategic, rather than tactical; the importance of developing a value model around the FM function; the significant role of FM in meeting cost savings targets and the practicalities of implementing cost reduction initiatives associated with buildings and facilities portfolios.
